I've been so obsessed, since the first time I saw this new fashion trend at pinterest. I'm looking everywhere where I can buy this but I can't find anything :( Even in Forever21 or H&M don't have this kind of stocking. Luckily while I was browsing I saw the stocking at Shopee.ph (I don't know how I found the site. I can't remember. Haha) And it's cheap! 100pesos only! I immediately order it online the good thing is it's cash on delivery. Haha. Finally I will be having a "bonggang" ootd for my birthday. Hihi :)

PS: You can also wear it under your pants, shorts or anything it depends on your style.

Last year my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Fortune Island, Nasugbu Batangas. So this 2017 I want to celebrate it at Calaguas Island but unfortunately the weather was not good at Calaguas so our agency told us if we want to go to Maniwaya instead. It's ok for me because honestly my second option is Maniwaya also so I'm happy we will be able now to experience the beautiful island of Marinduque! 🙌

Yes still this is not a DIY trip because we've been too busy at our work and we don't have time to plan all those things for a week. Our agency is Good Weather Travel & Tours Thanks to kuya jhong(not real name) and kuya daniel/jun our 2 coordinators for being so patient(because the other group is err) and friendly at the same time.😊

We stayed at Wawie's beach resort . I recommend this resot to the backpackers who just want to rent a tent only or can bring your own tent. They also offer a room with air-conditioned or not.

Ungab Rock Formation

Palad Sandbar and Ungab Rock formation are the tourist spots or the famous place here in Maniwaya, Marinduque. Unfortunately we didn't experience the sandbar because of the weather and it is high tide. 😔 Ungab Rock is good for cliff diving then, after that we go to Mongpong Island. It was like an abandoned island. No resorts, few people only and no houses. And so many urchins 😅

But after all we really enjoyed  this getaway. You should also visit here as long as it is not crowded pa. Haha.

Good Weater Travel & Tours has a promo last January.
The price of our package is 2,500pesos/head. 2 Days and 1 night.

Inclusions are:
☑ Beach Camp at 3 Brothers Resort Beach
☑ Roundtrip Van Transfer (Manila-Gen Luna Port-Manila)
☑ Rountrip Boat Ride (Gen LunaPort to Maniwaya Island-Gen Luna Port)
☑ Meals Including (5 Hosted Meal)
☑ Tent Accomodation
☑ Environmental Fee
☑ Island Hopping: Palad Sandbar and Ungab Rock Formation
Not bad right? 😊

How to get there:

Name: Mt. Ulap
Jump Off: Ampucao Itogon Benguet
Exit Point: Sta. Fe Itogon Benguet
Elevation: 1846 MASL
Difficulty: 3/9
Features: Grassland and Pine ridges. Scenic views of the Cordilleras. Burial Caves.

Unfortunately this is not a DIY trip, we joined some backpacker group "Campers and Backpackers" (check their fb) for only 999pesos inclusive of car service, registration fee, tourist guide fee and driver's meal. Mt. Ulap is one of my bucket list this 2017 and I'm sooo happy we finally booked our trip. As they say, Mt. Ulap is not that hard to hike unlike pico and daraitan that we already experienced. But scenic view was soooo amazing! Beautiful! Even we are walking for about 4 hours you will not feel the tiredness because of this view. You may want to take picture every minute. Haha! Though this year Mt. Ulap had so many tourist everyday unlike last year. We took an hour to take a picture at Gungal Rock because it's crowded.

Mt. Ulap has 3 peaks:
1. Ambanaw Paway - 1788 mASL; 3.6km
2. Gungal Rock - 1814 mASL; 5.4km
3. Mt. Ulap - 1846 mASL; 6.5km

We start at around 6am and we reached the exit point around 4pm.

HOW TO GO THERE

  • Commute – Ride a bus in Cubao/Pasay to Baguio City. From the bus terminal, ride a jeep going to Central Mall then from there ride another jeep enroute Phillex Mines and get off Ampucao Elementary School.
