Brief History:
The island was long owned by José Antonio Leviste, a former governor of Batangas. Leviste opened the Fortune Island Resort Club on the island in 1995.
The beach resort was built along a 20-metre (66-foot) stretch of pristine white sand. Several rest houses facing the water. The resort features a salt-water swimming pool,
clubhouse, cabana, basketball court, helipad, desalinator for freshwater consumption, and a small serpentarium, a reptile zoo for snakes. The beach also has an acropolis with
Grecian pillars and statues on the edge of the island overlooking the sea. There is also a museum dedicated to the San Diego, a Spanish warship that sank off the island

To celebrate our 2nd Anniversary of my boyfriend with my brother, 2 cousins and one friend we decided to go to Fortune Island.
Honestly it's so hard to choose where we should go if boracay, calaguas or fortune, but because we're on a budget fortune island is our best option.

Fortune Island don't have a clean water and source of electricity so be sure you don't forget your flashlights and drinking water. Also the island has a signal for smart and globe so don't worry.
No cottages at the island so you should need a tent but if you don't have you can rent a tent from a caretaker for about 400php. The caretaker lived in island itself. You will enjoy the white sand of the island.

You really need a contact to the boatment to reserved you on your date arrival and from searching I got a contact for Mang Dante and Nanay Sarah. Luckily they also offer a packages if you are in a group but if you are in two to three pax they can also offer joiners. Below is the details of our package from Mang Dante and Nanay Sarah. I'll give them a five star especially to Nanay Sarah who is very accommodate on our trip. :)

If you are only one or two don't worry you can be a joiner and you will get a 1,500php only for overnight.
300php for daytour and 400php for overnight. Mang Dante can provide also a clean water just ask them.
