Lifestyle Blog by Sushmita

Hello!! It's been a while since I posted here. Way back 2020, I stopped posting because I am preparing for our baby's arrival. She's 1 year and 6 months old now!! Time flies isn't it?🥰 I've been mia for the past years. There's a lot of things happened for the past years including the covid cases that really affects so many lives. Thankfully, we're now under Level 1 which allows kids to go outside like malls, can dine-in in restaurants and playgrounds. (Thank God!)🙏

Ever since Lilli was born I became a full-time housewife, my husband doesn't want me to work because he want me to just focus on our baby so  I've been really busy and I don't do blog for a while. So Lilli is a toddler now, I can finally be able to write here and do a video-blog if I have some more time. Haha!

So I'm gonna share this new resto we found along four lanes(FYI we lived in Balanga Bataan😊) we bring Lilli to Kidzoona in a mall and then we're looking a resto we can dine-in for dinner and just found this one.

We ordered Pork Sisig(Php190), Mozarella cheese stick(Php135), Baked Macaroni(Php140), Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings(Php175), Blueberry Cheesecake(Forgot the price😅)

We enjoyed the food. I think it is worth of it's price. The ambiance of the place was nice. It's quiet and I recommend you to get there around 4-5pm if you want to dine-in outside so it's not that hot.

But there's a little mosquitoes outside so it's better you bring mosquito repellent for your kids. The staff was nice too😊.

If you happen to drop by in Balanga Bataan, visit and try their foods! It's just along in Four Lanes😉

I include this on my vlog. It's actually my first vlog since the last post I made last 2019. Will link it here😉

Here's their updated menu as of 2022:

When I started my 30 Days Challenge I also started to be a healthy living. Honestly at first I really hate veggies, I am a kind of person who more likes soda, junk foods, chocolates etc., But when I started a research what are the benefits of vegetable in our body. I finally learn how to eat veggies  and fun fact about me now is I prefer to eat salads and green tea than those soda or chips. I eat junk foods every once a month and I don't drink a soda now, also I eat pork once or twice a month only. 😉

I am happy that Bataan finally has a restaurant that serves a healthy diet like green salads, gourmet sandwiches, smoothies, Greek yogurt cheesecakes etc., when I heard about this I immediately look the place with my boyfriend and tried their salad.

It was a rainy day and we are the only customers at that time. I'm in awe when we entered, I super love the ambiance and the place is really quiet even it's near in the public market. They will greet you a warm welcome, the staffs are very friendly too. When we already choose our table they immediately served us a water. Thumbs up! 👍

I ordered "Chicken Nasalad (158php)" although it's lunch time I preferred to eat a salad because I really miss salads. Haha. Chicken Nasalad ingredients are Marinated Chicken Breast, Orange, Almonds, Tomatoes, Lettuce with Sweet Soy Sesame Dressing. I will tell you guys my honest review and I can say "It really worth the price". I super love the dressing and I think this will be my favorite salad here in Wooden Leaf. (Actually, I am craving now while I'm typing this. Hahaha. Gulp!😂) We waited for about 15 min for our order.

Lester ordered "Hainanese Chicken (158php)" he wants to eat rice. Haha. If you heard the word "Hainanese" (It's one of the national dishes in Singapore) you will notice that it was served with ginger. So their hainanese chicken served with lean chicken meat with ginger-garlic sauce. You can actually choose if you want a Brown rice or White rice, he chose white rice. Lester loves the food and because I don't like the ginger, I only eat the chicken without ginger and it's still tasted good!👍

We also tried their Yogurt Cheesecake with granola at the bottom. I love their cheesecake version because of their healthy ingredients. I tried the "Athena's Matcha (118php)" and Lester tried the "Hade's Detox (118php)". All of their cheesecake prices are same, 118php.

The cheesecakes are not that too sweet which is I like, If I'm going to choose between the two cheesecakes that we ordered I'll choose my matcha cheesecake. I love the blend of yogurt and matcha, also the granola at the bottom. Actually I really want to order again after I ate mine but maybe next time again. Haha. Hade's Detox is a blueberry and yogurt mixture with a granola at the bottom also. I love the taste but I love more my matcha. Haha (It's because I'm a matcha lover)😅

We're planning to go here again to try their smoothies and pastas, but overall my rate will be 5 out of 5! Good ambiance + Good food + Friendly Staff. This will probably my hideout here in Bataan.

Price range is 80 - 200 pesos.

What we ordered:
Chicken Nasalad - 158
Hainanese Chicken - 158
Hade's Detox - 118
Athena's Matcha - 118
Total Cost: 552 for 2 person

Address:
Market Road, Barangay San Jose, Baanga City Bataan (near Balanga Public Market beside of Pearl Chee Korean Buffet)

Jonglo Korean Restaurant is a 24 hours restaurant and located at Malate, Manila. We're so happy when we heard that this opens 24 hours because our out time at office is 9pm. After shift, we go straight here and we arrived at around 10:30pm. There was no customer at that time, and we feel like we rented this whole restaurant. Haha. 😂

Jonglo is not a buffet-type restaurant. But all of their menu  is good for 2-4 person per serving that's why the prices is a bit pricey but super worth it promise! You can experience the Hanbok if your order is 350 pesos and up (per head).

What we ordered:
✔Samgyup - 250
✔Chapchae - 350
✔Sogogi Kimbap - 120
✔Kimchi Bokumbap - 230
✔Cheese ttukboki - 250 w/ cheese (200 walang cheese)
✔Lettuce - 50
✔Calamansi Soju - 280
Total - 1530 pesos

We divide it in 3 so we spent 510 pesos only per person.

They served first the side dishes which is FREE! Yuumm! 😍

While waiting for our order, we quickly run at the dressing room where you can find all the Hanbok dresses. They have for female, male and for kids also!

Please remember that wearing Hanbok while eating is prohibited.

After 15 minutes our orders already served at our table. Of course the first I ate is my favorite Japchae! Hihi.😊 All of their foods was sooooo good! You definitely try their cheese ttukboki when you visit there, it super worth the price because it was so delicious and cheesy of course.

Also try the calamansi soju, tho after we drink this we feel so nauseous and dizzy. Haha! Well expect that because it's SOJU! 😄

How to get there:
✅ Take the Lrt1 and drop off at Pedro Gil Station.
✅ Then find the Robinson's Place Manila and when you found it, take a turn on the front corner then walk for about 5minutes you'll find the Jonglo Restaurant. 😊

Address: 1734 Jorge Bocobo St, Malate, Manila, 1004 Metro Manila

My boyfriend's favorite buffet dining restaurant was Sambokojin. This is not our first time to dine here. I think this is our fifth time already!😄 We should have a loyalty card na. Lol. Haha! 😂Every time we ate here, I didn't get a chance to get a best picture for my blog because, ya know I eat first. Haha. I forgot everything when I see the sushi section and the chapchae! So I promised today I'll take a picture and will share this here in my blog. (Hopefully the pictures are the best)😊

Sambokojin is a Japanese-Korean Cuisine. They offer inside a lot of sushi and like in yakimix, you'll grill your food at your table like the koreans do (if you watch kdramas, you know what I mean here). You can reserved your table through call only. They don't offer online reservation. But for us, we chose for walk-in only. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:30PM and the receptionist said they will accept the walk-ins at 4:30PM the start of dinner is 5:00PM.

For walk-ins, you'll see at the pic that they arranged the lines into three sections. At 4:00PM the receptionist will come to you and will list your names. And exact 5:00PM they will call your name. Our group called first! So I think no need for reservation at Sambo. Hihi 😊

When we reach our table, my boyfriend go straight ahead at the sushi section whilst me in the chapchae section. For today, we didn't get much food for the grill because what we want was the sushi and salmons. And their matcha ice cream! Ohhh I'm craving again. You'd definitely try it when you're in Sambokojin. Also they're offer a fresh fruit shake (sorry I didn't get a picture) try the green mango shake you'll never regret this.
